Build a Good Website

Building a website is often one of those “hard things” we procrastinate for months because it seems overwhelming. I want you to challenge yourself to build your website within 1 week! Don’t worry about making it 100% perfect or optimized at first. The benefit of this challenge is that it will push you to start taking action and prioritize only the most essential things. Remember, you can always go back and make improvements later (and you should!)

Struggling to pick a website platform to build your website on? I’ve created a chart below comparing some of the top platforms. Personally, I always recommend Squarespace because it is a robust, versatile platform that is easy to use and leaves plenty of room for customization and flexibility.

Shopify is another top pick, and is one of the world’s leading e-commerce website building platforms. It has plenty of advanced e-commerce features to optimize your business. However it tends to have a steeper learning curve and can be more difficult to completely customize your website design without hiring a Shopify Developer. I usually recommend Shopify for shop owners who plan to have more than about 50 products and/or a brick & mortar store location.
